"Dressage for All"
At Amelia Newcomb Dressage, we understand that you might not have access to quality dressage education from an in-person trainer or coach. These 1-on-1 online coaching sessions with Amelia Newcomb are 45 min long via Zoom call and are designed to give you feedback and help you learn to love your ride.
As a student, you have the chance to review your pre-recorded riding video with Amelia, discuss issues that they are having, ask questions, and receive feedback from Amelia. You'll also recieve a recording of the call afterwards so you can listen to it again and again!

Do I have to be enrolled in a course to participate?
No, you do not. While you do not have to be enrolled or have taken a course from Amelia in the past, these coaching sessions are designed to compliment the Competition Courses and you will get the most out of them if you have taken a course in the past.
Why "Competition Coaching", can I have a regular session not focusing on competition riding?
Yes, you can! We designed these sessions as a compliment to the Competition Courses, which focus on test riding. But Amelia would be happy to go over any footage or questions you might have.

All level of riders will benefit from 1-on-1 coaching with Amelia. As an FEI rider who works with riders of all ages and levels, Amelia can customize your session to your level.

My goal is to make good training accessible to everyone who is interested in learning. I want to help YOU "learn to love your ride!" -Amelia
Amelia works to develop a trusting and confident relationship between horse and rider. Using elements from both natural horsemanship and classical dressage, Amelia creates a holistic approach to dressage training that adapts to fit the needs of each individual horse and rider. Starting with basic groundwork and progressing to the Grand Prix, Amelia emphasizes trust, understanding, and relaxation for both horse and rider.
Amelia also enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge and experience with her students. “I have been blessed with many great teachers in my career and I hope to help each and every one of my students develop a connection and solid relationship with their horses.” A passionate dressage trainer, with a goal of reaching and helping a larger number of riders than one-on-one in-person training allows, Amelia has expanded her training program to the online community.
